Free Vogue Classes with JRFThe classes are completely free and are happening every Thursday from 20:00-22:00 in the dance studio at the Sultan Nazrin Shah Centre in Worcester College, apart from in Week 1 and Week 2 when they're happening Friday 20:00-22:00 in the same location.
The dance teacher is so amazing! She's an academic working at the university and has had years + years of training as a vogue dancer and being involved in the ball scene. In the classes she's given us, she also always puts a massive emphasis on educating about the history and culture of vogue. We're also hoping to do go to a ball as a group sometime, either during term or at the start of summer, off the back of these classes - with students putting themselves up for categories if they felt happy to do so. |
