The LGBTQ+ Society operates a strict Zero Tolerance Policy to ensure our events are as inclusive and safe as possible. Our policy extends to but is not limited to: homophobia, racism, transphobia, queerphobia, biphobia, misogyny, harassment, xenophobia, classism, antisemitism, islamophobia and ableism. We reserve the right to ask any individual to leave an event.
Regarding complaints after the event, any identity-specific complaints will be dealt with by the LGBTQ+ Society’s complaints system. We offer support with complaints made to the proctors regarding sexual or physical assault and harassment, but we do not assess them ourselves. We will take appropriate action in line with the proctors’ recommendations.
If you experience any form of discrimination at one of our events or are made to feel uncomfortable in any way please feel free to approach a committee member and/or email the President at ouprez@gmail.com (if you are comfortable please cc in the welfare reps: ouwelf01@gmail.com; ouwelf02@gmail.com). Alternatively, you can fill out this feedback form.
